First seen in the "Ships of the Line" calendar, the Bonaventure class is one of the best-known original-series era designs to be first seen in recent years. The NX influence is clear, as is the similarities in hybrid saucer/stardrive designs to pre-existing descendants (and THAT only makes sense in Star Trek) like the Akira and Norway.
