Starforce Productions - Jester and Orka 2z5q59

Here are two new ships by Starforce Productions, the Jester and the Orka. Both of these ships would be excellent escort vessels due to their size, although both of these ships are not very powerful when compared to cruisers or heavier vessels.

The Jester (Corvette) is a torpedo cruiser that is capable of firing 4 photon torpedoes forward and 4 photon torpedoes aft. This ship is not very effective against more manuverable ships such as the Sabre, Defiant, or a Jem Haddar attack ship, but would be more useful against cruisers where the torpedoes would cause more damage. However the Jester is no match for many cruisers from the TMP or TNG period and would only be useful in defence of another ship or convoy.

The Orka (Gunboat) is a phaser cruiser that has a total of four phaser banks that can fire 2 forward and aft. This ship can easily target most of the manuverable ships such as the Jem Haddar Fighter / Attack ship and destroy it fairly easily, this ship would not be that effective against larger vessels as the Orka is no match for anything higher than a cruiser level.

In Numbers both the Orka and Jester would be an effective escort for any patrol or convoy as the combined weapons would be enough to defend the convoy, unless attacked by a battlecruiser or a battleship.
